Flying Deer Shoot - TBW Rendezvous 2004

A deer slides down a 100’ cable and groups of archers take turns shooting at it. After everyone is either tired of shooting (or is out of cash!) we decide who the winner is.

I won 1st (I’m second from the left in the photo) and my son, Chad, took 2nd place (on the left in the photo). Believe it or not, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were decided by only a difference of 1/8” for each place!

I was a very proud Papa to have my son with me and by the fact that we were both shooting stick bows against all of the glass bow shooters. This is a great fund-raiser at $1 for three arrows.
